 GROWING IN GOD'S WISDOM

 LUKE 2:46-52

Key Verse: "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man" (Luke 2:52).


     Wisdom is the ability to know and do what is right at the right time. Wisdom is needed in every area of life. Jesus Christ had the wisdom of God and fulfilled His mission on earth. Without the wisdom of God, man is nothing. Wisdom gives direction where it is needed and helps one to make right choices and decisions.

     Where there is no wisdom of God, the strongest man will falter and fall. You cannot please God without His wisdom. He is ready to give wisdom to whosoever asks Him. God gave Solomon wisdom, and he became the wisest man on earth. He passed judgements with the wisdom of God, and his kingdom prospered.

     In your relationship with others, you need the wisdom of God. Your speech should edify others. The wisdom of God is a gateway to excellence. The first step to God's wisdom is the fear of God. The wisest man, Solomon, said, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom". Why not seek to have God's wisdom to excel in life?


Prayer: Oh Lord, fill me with Your excellent wisdom.
